How not to visit a mall

It was my first time to visit the SM Mall of Asia. It's been a long time since the mall opened but I haven't really had to chance to see it. What a way to see it for the first time. I went there to scout for an activity we were going to have the next day. So I was more concerned about the floor plan, the entrances, the exits, which way to go, and things like that. Good thing I have pictures to look at again. See them here.

Been there, coz ma bf works there. It's huge! I mean, it's an overkill! My bf was complaining that most people who does there made the place a tourist spot and are not really buying. It's nice. I think I got two complaints. 1 - the place is not functional as in if your are going there with a group of people meeting somewhere, you'd be lost unless you've been there for the 12345689th times. 2 - I was looking for the sign YOU ARE HERE on the map and it's missing!!! I have to figure out myself where the hell I am before I could even start to navigate my way through! I was pissed!

Yeah, it is big and they marketed the whole thing based on its sheer size. I remember people were saying then that it is the biggest in Asia, or something like that. It is so tiring though. After going there I felt like I walked several kilometers. I guess Henry Sy just wanted to prove a point or two to his rivals. :) Anyway, thanks for the comment.

jajaja... seems you need to make a plan before to arrive... are 24 hours enough to visit it? :S

I'm not exactly a fan of big places, most especially malls, because

1.) I easily get lost as I have little to no sense of direction
2.) I really have nothing better to do than stare because I have....
3.) No money
4.) Lastly, I really think that the land used to build it would have been better off to fund for projects with a cause, like orphanages or hospitals or something that's actually useful for the [unfortunate] Filipinos

I've been to MoA once, and I don't intend to go back until necessary. I know, I'm such a killjoy. It isn't my fault I hate shopping and anything that's related to it! ;)
